Position Summary
JSW Steel is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team!
The Process Engineer is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates in Mechanical, Industrial, or Welding Technology/Engineering. This position will be assigned to an operational department where they will learn and operate critical machinery, Time study, process study, documentation etc.
The Process Engineer will review existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compare them to actual operations, making updates as needed. These updated SOPs will be used to develop training materials for new operators. Over time, additional engineering and operational projects will be assigned.
Essential Accountabilities
To work safely in a complex industrial environment with high heat, pressure, and moving equipment
Interact productively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization, production team members, peers, engineering, quality, sales, administration, and senior leadership
Understand, display, and champion the core values of JSW Steel USA
Learning operations by reviewing and/or updating our operational SOP’s and creating training programs for our machinery
Key Qualifications
Mechanical , Industrial Engineering or Welding Technology Degree
Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is desirable.
