JSW Steel is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our team!
Primary Duties
· To work safely in a complex industrial environment with high heat, pressure, and moving equipment
· Interact productively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization; production team members, peers, engineering, quality, sales, administration, and senior leadership
· Understand, display, and champion the CORE Values of JSW Steel USA, “Better Every Day” is our motto, work each day today for a better tomorrow. Develop working knowledge of JSW products and operational procedures
· Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, order expediting and status
· Accurate breakdown and determination of incoming POs to ensure appropriate order parameters and procedures.
· Accurate Order Entry into order entry system.
· Verify all order activity from entry through internal reviews and order shipment.
· Alert Sales Management on any customer issues or complaints.
· Respond in a timely fashion to customer requests for order status and any additional information required.
· Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
· Communicate and work with sales and other departments to ensure customer service and satisfaction.
· Meet or exceed assigned sales and customer service goals.
· Follow company policies and procedures.
· Always present a friendly and professional image.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· 2 or more years of Inside Sales experience, preferable in Pipe sales
· SAP experience preferred
· Prior steel industry related experience
· Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
· Teamwork and relationship building skills
· Customer service skills
· Detail oriented
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
