Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring accurate intake, consent forms, scanning and uploading documents, collecting copayments, coordinatjon with remote team, and appointment scheduling.
• Collect and record vital signs, patient history, and other essential information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Assist healthcare providers with preparing for clinical procedures and performing basic life support when needed.
• Support patient care by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing inventory of medical supplies, and maintaining general office cleanliness. May involve shredding of sensitive document, light cleaning at the end of day and safe trash disposal.
• Handle administrative tasks when needed to help remote team.
• Coordinate patient flow by scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and managing wait times efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols across outpatient clinics
• Hipaa and Osha compliance

Experience

• Prior experience working in rheumatology clinics
• Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support, HIPAA, OSHA

Job Types: Contract, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
