JPC Partners is looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design, implement, and maintain complex data systems that support our organization's strategic goals. The candidate will translate complex business requirements into conceptual, logical, physical data models, attribute design and workflow support for product data. Design and implement complex data models in our Master data management platform. A key focus will be reducing data redundancy, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.

- Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models for Product domains and entities.
- Design and implement product entities, attributes, hierarchies, relationships and reference data
- Proficient in handling complex data mappings
- Translate business requirements into data structures, constraints and validation rules.
- Perform data modeling and schema design for the Master data platform.
- Handle schema evolution, source changes, and ingestion failures within the MDM platform.
- Build and maintain outbound data feeds downstream consuming systems.
- Support configuration of business process workflows related to product data creation, updates and approval within MDM platform.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, data governance and engineering teams to align data designs.
- Support data quality analysis and issue resolution.
- Document data models, definitions and domain standards.
- Support deployments, testing and production operations.
- Automating tasks and deploying production standard code (with unit testing, continuous integration, versioning, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry best practices for data modeling and database design
- Strong expertise in relational data modelling (Conceptual / Logical / Physical)
- Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts
- Deep understanding of relational database design and normalization
- Experience defining entities, attributes, and complex relationships
- Ability to model hierarchies and domain specific structures
- Master Data Management experience
- Knowledge of Databricks, Purview, Snowflake, Qlik, or Alteryx.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management concepts
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data designs
- Experience with version control, testing and deployment practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Open mindset, ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn new practices
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a plus
- Performance/security-oriented data modeling and data design, including partitions, different type of indexes, views, and most effective data management practices
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
- Azure Data Engineer certification (preferred)
