Job Summary

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and facility upkeep within a busy medical setting. PLEASE NOTE: This position is in the evening roughly 7pm-11pm 4 hours per night Monday-Friday NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, exam areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure a clean environment at all times.
• Utilize custodial experience to operate cleaning machinery like floor buffers and extractors efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols for industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within healthcare or commercial settings.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance needs.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
