Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Evening Cleaner to join our team. This vital role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during evening hours. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for executing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring all areas meet high standards of cleanliness. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience to contribute to a well-maintained facility while working during the evening shift. This position is evenings from 10pm-11pm with a half hour break Mon-Fri paid holidays and no weekends.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure floors, surfaces, and fixtures are spotless and sanitized
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
- Handle custodial responsibilities including waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support industrial or specialized cleaning projects when required, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
