The Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Inside Sales Team Lead to oversee our inside sales function and drive revenue growth for the North America market. In this role, you will lead a team of inside sales account executives, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed performance targets while building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and lead a team of inside sales representatives selling into the North America market to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Guide the team in building, qualifying, and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline toward closure.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure disciplined use of sales processes.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks; monitor results regularly and implement continuous improvements.
- Drive accountability for key activities, including outreach, discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups.
- Ensure the team maintains strong product knowledge and understands customer needs to articulate value effectively.
- Work closely with Customer Success to align on account plans and renewal strategies.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in an inside sales team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Experience in B2B EdTech, SaaS, or Higher Education markets strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and manage high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of inside sales methodologies, pipeline management, and KPIs.
- Highly results-driven, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and Hubspot.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
