Global Medical Device company looking to bring on an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to their growing team. This role will provide direct support to the manufacturing lines through development and implementation of methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Must bring experience with QA in a manufacturing setting. This is not an IT role.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring and trending production defects and leading projects to resolve top defects.
- Identifying, containing, and correcting nonconformances originating from the manufacturing area.
- Coaching cross functional team on QMS requirements as it relates to manufacturing facility.
- When appropriate, designs and installs testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
Requirements- B.S in engineering of any discipline, preferably mechanical, or equivalent is required
- 1-3 years of experience required
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems in a high stress situation
- Manage projects in a timely manner
- Ability to conduct and document technical investigation
- Experience with GD&T and Statistical Analysis Capability, highly desirable
