What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Lab Technician position at Joulé?
Location: Lyndhurst, New Jersey
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7 AM- 3:45 PM
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include testing the physical properties of fresh and hardened concrete, weighing and mixing of small batches of concrete, and entering the data into excel templates. The purpose of the testing is to help develop new products, qualify new raw materials and production batches of finished products, and to help troubleshoot issues that our customers may be experiencing in the field.
- Candidate will be responsible mixing product for testing.
- Test samples, and log results into excel
- Must be able to lift bags to test which can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Prepare and weigh the concrete raw materials
- Reading scales
- Filling syringes
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or TTP
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
