Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced QC Lab Technician. Ideal candidates should have experience with microbiological assays such as Bioburden, Endotoxin, PCR, and microbial identification techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of microbiological assays in support of routine testing for raw materials, production intermediates, bulk samples, finished products, and validation samples.
- Conduct fundamental and advanced testing formats including Bioburden, Endotoxin, Biological Indicators, PCR, and Microbial Identification.
- Assist with instrument validations, special projects, and training of new team members.
- Author SOP revisions and participate in investigation writing.
- Interpret and document test results according to SOPs and Data Integrity principles using standard Quality systems.
- Support laboratory operations in a cGLP setting, ensuring compliance with safety and aseptic procedures.
- Support occasional weekend and holiday coverage to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Experience working in a microbiology laboratory, preferably in a cGLP environment.
- Ability to perform laboratory and office work including walking, standing, sitting, and manipulating testing apparatus.
- Strong understanding of microbiological assays such as Bioburden, Endotoxin, PCR, and microbial identification techniques.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures accurately.
- Effective communication skills for documenting results and participating in investigations.
- Flexibility to support both assay work and office-based tasks as needed.
