Position: Cashier
At Joseph’s Classic Market, our Cashiers are the final interaction customers have before leaving the store, making this role critical in providing a positive and lasting impression. In addition to delivering exceptional service, Cashiers are responsible for ensuring accurate pricing and transactions, directly impacting our store’s profitability.
Routine Tasks:
- Deliver customer service that meets the Joseph’s Classic Market standard
- Weigh, scan, and accurately ring up products
- Accept various forms of payment and provide correct change
- Handle cash, credit, and other tender types with accuracy
- Bag products efficiently and safely
- Keep the register area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and reading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
- A passion for serving people
