Qualifications
- Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law firm environment, preferably Family Law
- The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and take initiative
- Strong administrative skills and a background in customer service are essential
What You’ll Do
- Answer phones, welcome clients, and set up conference rooms for meetings
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Document and update client statuses, appointments, and phone calls in the firm’s practice management system
- Communicate with potential and existing clients by phone, in person, and by email
- Receive and process daily mail
- Assist with A/R follow-up and billing communications
- Copy, scan, file, and assist with office supply organization
- Maintain front office area, conference room, and other common areas
- Assist team members when they need a hand
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 2 years of receptionist experience in a law firm setting; family law background strongly preferred
• Exceptional phone presence and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
Starting at $21 DOE
