Job Summary

Duties
- Review and verify title documentation, including title commitments, title searches, and lien searches, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and coordinate all necessary closing documents, contracts, escrow instructions, and disclosures in compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and Fair Housing regulations.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing and underwriting procedures.
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and review financial documents to confirm borrower eligibility in accordance with FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines.
- Ensure all mortgage servicing requirements are met by accurately processing loans and maintaining detailed records of transactions.
- Execute the closing process by coordinating signings, verifying borrower identities, and ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled before funding.
- Perform basic math calculations related to escrow amounts, taxes, insurance premiums, and other financial components essential for accurate closings.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, escrow procedures, TILA requirements, and Fair Housing laws throughout every transaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan origination or mortgage processing with a strong understanding of FNMA guidelines.
- Knowledge of underwriting processes, credit analysis, mortgage servicing, escrow procedures, and loan documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with legal contracts related to real estate transactions and mortgage lending regulations.
- Strong proficiency in loan processing systems, 10-key typing skills, basic math skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data accurately while adhering to federal regulations such as TILA and Fair Housing laws.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently under tight deadlines.
