What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman position at Jonathan Club?
Description
As banquet houseman this position will demonstrate a comfortable knowledge level of food & beverage banquet set ups, multi-functional duties related to guest service, setting up and breaking down events from a houseman duties stand point. This position works alongside the rest of the front of the house members to create member and guest satisfaction in a high end environment. This position reports to the Food & Beverage Director, Food and Beverage Manager and Captain.
Requirements
· Comfortable knowledge level regarding product and property’s information.
· Proficiency in verbal and written English.
· Ability to communicate professionally through email, phone and in person interaction with clients when needed.
· Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.
· Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends.
· Basic knowledge of event’s spaces and capabilities for fitting set ups.
· Knowledge of the running inventory of chairs, tables, furniture pieces and any other items used for events.
