Support managers in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by assisting service teams, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day execution. Work closely with culinary, catering, and front-of-house teams to provide outstanding hospitality throughout the club.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the following:
- Assist with the daily operations of the Main Dining Room, Surfside Grill, bars, and banquet events to ensure exceptional member and guest experiences.
- Support front-of-house staff by providing floor supervision, coordinating service, and assisting with staffing assignments and daily operations.
- Assist with banquet and private event execution, including room setup, service, and breakdown in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Work collaboratively with culinary, catering, and club leadership to ensure efficient communication, timely service, and smooth operations.
- Help resolve member and guest concerns while maintaining Jonathan Club's hospitality and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food sanitation standards, responsible alcohol service, and club policies while supporting training and development of team members.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory role within a restaurant, private club, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from managers.
