Job Summary

Jomar Electrical Contractors is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team in Midland, Texas. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in commercial electrical construction, the ability to work independently, and the skills to complete electrical installations safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Install conduit, pull wire, complete terminations, and perform electrical installations according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose issues as needed.
• Install and maintain lighting, transformers, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical components.
• Perform inspections and ensure installations meet applicable electrical codes and quality standards.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate with Foremen and Superintendents to complete assigned work on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Use electrical tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license (TDLR).
• Strong commercial electrical construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and jobsite safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite in Midland, Texas.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to pass applicable background and driving record checks.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Starting at $36.00 per hour, based on experience, with flexibility up to $45.00 per hour for highly qualified candidates after skills verification.
• Company-Paid Housing: Housing provided, including meals.
• Daily Per Diem: Additional $25 per workday for eligible employees working out of town. Not available to local employees.
• 401(k): Company matching up to 4%.
