Position available at Johnston High School - Science Department
- Anticipated start date: March 2026
- Anticipated length of assignment: Through end of 2025-2026 school year
Daily substitute rate: $165 per day; increasing to $185 on 11th consecutive day, $235 on 21st consecutive day
Qualifications, Certification, and Experience:
- Valid Iowa Teaching or Substitute license
- Punctuality and attendance; regularly begins and ends tasks on time
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships and works cooperatively with students, parents and staff
- Projects a positive image as an educator in the school and in the community
- Promotes a positive image of the Johnston Schools
- Respects differing points of view
- Demonstrates an understanding and acceptance of diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, special needs and religious groups
