- Lead technical documentation projects and drive them through completion.
- Create, update, and organize service bulletins, assembly instructions, troubleshooting guides, and support materials.
- Develop photos, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and videos that make technical procedures easier to follow.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information and keep documentation current.
- Support new product launches by ensuring technical support teams have the information they need.
- Maintain feedback loops with internal teams, suppliers, technicians, and customers to continuously improve documentation quality.
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree in a technical or communication-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical-related field; fitness equipment experience is a plus.
- Strong technical writing skills, including experience creating step-by-step assembly or service documents.
- Hands-on aptitude for assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, or supporting equipment.
- Experience working with customer, technician, or field feedback to improve processes and materials.
- Valid driver’s license required for local travel; successful completion of pre-employment and annual MVR checks required to drive on behalf of the company.
- Expert-level Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for troubleshooting documents.
- Ability to learn new software and identify better ways to create, manage, and share documentation.
- Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, initiative, and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Clear communication style and the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of teams and personalities.
