About the Role
Johnson Company is hiring an Inside Sales & Sales Operations Specialist to play a meaningful, hands‑on role in supporting growth across medical, industrial, commercial vehicle, and mil‑aero OEM customers.
This is a high‑visibility, growth‑oriented position supporting outside sales, manufacturer partners, and active customer opportunities. It is well suited for someone early in their sales career who wants to go beyond order support — or a mid‑career professional who enjoys owning follow‑up, organization, and execution in a technical sales environment.
You will be directly involved in moving opportunities forward, maintaining strong CRM discipline, supporting manufacturer relationships, and helping turn daily sales activity into real momentum and design wins.
This role is a strong fit if you:
· Have 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, sales operations, or account coordination
· Like following up, organizing opportunities, and keeping things moving
· Are comfortable working with technical or engineered products
· Want exposure to OEM customers, outside sales, and manufacturer partners

What You’ll Do
Inside Sales & Opportunity Follow‑Up
· Follow up on leads, quotes, samples, and open opportunities with urgency and clarity
· Support sales initiatives through proactive customer outreach and coordination
· Partner with outside sales to help develop active, unassigned, or targeted accounts
Sales Operations & CRM Discipline
· Maintain accurate opportunity data, follow‑up notes, and next‑step activity in CRM systems
· Support pipeline visibility, reporting, and opportunity tracking
· Help ensure ownership, timing, and execution are clearly documented
Manufacturer & Partner Support
· Coordinate follow‑up activity, reporting, and opportunity updates with manufacturer partners
· Support growth initiatives tied to key supplier relationships
· Help ensure Johnson Company delivers strong inside support to the manufacturers we represent
Sales Support & Coordination
· Assist with quotes, samples, part‑number cross‑references, and documentation
· Connect customers and sales with technical or application resources when needed
· Help keep internal and external sales actions organized and moving forward
Qualifications
· 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, sales operations, or a related role
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or another technical field preferred
· Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced sales environment
· Comfort using CRM systems and sales activity tracking tools
· Experience in electronics, sensors, components, connectors, or other technical industries is highly preferred
· Technical curiosity and interest in learning product applications
· Team‑oriented, proactive, and growth‑minded attitude
Compensation & Benefits
· $60,000–$100,000 total compensation, depending on experience and technical background
· Base salary plus performance‑based bonus tied to growth objectives

Work Environment
· Blaine, Minnesota
· Primarily in‑office, 4–5 days per week, to start
· Hybrid flexibility (1–2 days/week) considered after 6–9 months of successful performance
