What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly Lube Technician position at Johnson Brothers Ford II, Ltd?
We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable Quick Lane Speed Bay Technician to join our team!
Our Speed Bay is built around teamwork, efficiency, and doing the job right the first time. This is a fast-paced position and a great opportunity for someone looking to build their automotive experience and grow into the next level of their career.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Rotate and balance tires
- Perform tire repairs
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Inspect brakes, tires, fluids, filters, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections
- Check and top off fluids as needed
- Replace wiper blades, filters, bulbs, and other maintenance items
- Communicate needed maintenance and repairs to the Service Advisor
- Work alongside other technicians to keep vehicles moving through the Speed Bay efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Properly operate lifts, tire equipment, and other shop tools
- Follow all dealership and shop safety procedures
What we’re looking for:

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Automotive experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
