Job Title: Senior Plant Operator
Job Location: Baltimore, MD
Job Position Type/ Shift: Full Time, Evening Shift 3:30 pm-11 pm, 40 hours Weekly
Job Summary: The Senior Plant Operator operates and maintains Central Power Plant (CPP) steam generators, steam turbines, electrical chillers and auxiliary machinery. Oversees the work of the Jr. Plant Operator. This work is performed under general supervision, following standard procedures and using the tools and techniques of power plant operation and maintenance technology.
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of formal training in Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Pump, and Motor operation and maintenance at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
License Requirement: Current, valid First (1st) Class Operating Engineer license.
Work Experience: 5 Years of related work experience required.
Salary Range: Minimum 32.15 per hour - Maximum 37.32 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
