Job Description:
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. You will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels welcome, valued, and ready to enjoy the best we have to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
Warm Welcome: Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
Seating Management: Efficiently manage the seating chart, balancing guest flow to ensure a smooth dining experience.
Reservation Coordination: Handle reservations with accuracy, confirming details and accommodating special requests.
Guest Assistance: Assist guests with any inquiries, providing information about the menu, specials, and restaurant features.
Waitlist Oversight: Maintain an organized waitlist during peak times, communicating estimated wait times to guests.
Ambiance Maintenance: Ensure the entrance and lobby areas are clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
Communication: Liaise with the kitchen and service staff to coordinate guest seating and special accommodations.
Customer Service: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive outcome.
Team Support: Assist in various operational tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
