Your Responsibilities
As an Inventory Analyst for John Deere Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Maintain accurate records for direct materials, reconcile discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective action
- Work closely with Operations, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, Department Auditors, and other factory teams to ensure inventory accuracy
- Participate in Cycle Counts and Monthly Financial Inventory Audits
- Develop innovative and proactive methods to identify and resolve inventory issues before escalation

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years in roles that demonstrate a working knowledge of Material Flow
- 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- 2 or more years demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- 2 or more years collaborating with peers and teams cross functionally
What Makes You Standout
- Cross-functional work experience in Materials and at least one other function and/or factory
- Experience or certifications in Root Cause Analysis methodology
- Fluency in SAP with experience in warehouse environments
- Ability to collaborate and drive action within cross-functional teams
- Proficient in analyzing extensive data sets to uncover emerging trends and issues, ensuring timely and informed decision-making
- Understanding assembly line and process design, material presentation and delivery, and corresponding visual management tools
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
