What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk position at A-Line?
Inventory Clerk
- Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 3:45 pm
- $19.00 per hour
- OT and some Saturdays as needed
This is a hands-on position that combines inventory management with physical work both indoors and outdoors.
What You'll Do:
- Create, prepare, and categorize inventory files for all incoming units.
- Physically count and log all units into the Inventory Management System.
- Identify and troubleshoot units and classify them for resale or recycle accordingly.
- Capture and maintain photograph inventory records for resale operations.
- Perform weekly inventory counts and inspections of equipment in storage.
- Update inventory records with any damages as necessary.
- Enter and correct data into manifests and BOLs to match inventory records.
- Finalize paperwork and perform quality checks on all inventory records.
- Pull oil samples and perform quality tests on equipment as needed.
- Communicate with team lead, employees, and customers on available inventory as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What you Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with data entry or inventory preferred
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk throughout the day.
- Frequently bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work safely around heavy equipment while wearing required PPE.
