Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and providing friendly service to all customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients and customer preferences
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Serve food promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience for every guest
- Support catering events or special functions as needed, contributing to smooth operations and excellent service
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
- Proven culinary experience with excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience in fine dining environments or catering services is a plus
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
