Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and routine kitchen tasks.
- Wash, peel, cut, and organize ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Prepare ingredients and supplies for daily food service.
- Help assemble food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Follow recipe instructions and established food-quality standards.
- Keep kitchen workstations, counters, and preparation areas clean and organized.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Restock ingredients, containers, packaging, and kitchen supplies.
- Assist cooks and kitchen team members during busy service periods.
- Help receive, store, and organize food supplies according to established procedures.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Assist with opening, closing, and routine kitchen cleaning duties.
- Communicate supply needs and kitchen concerns to the appropriate team member.
