Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support our manufacturing

operations. This role is responsible for inspecting products, verifying measurements, and

ensuring all materials meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate has

manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable using basic hand tools

and measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects or

non-conformance

• Use hand tools and measurement devices (calipers, tape measures, micrometers, gauges) to

verify product specifications

• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records

• Identify defects, deviations, or quality issues and report them to supervisors or production

leads

• Work closely with production, assembly, and shipping teams to resolve quality concerns

• Follow established quality procedures, safety guidelines, and company standards

• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions when needed

• Support continuous improvement e orts within the quality department

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience (assembly, production, machine operation, or similar)

• Ability to use hand tools and basic measurement equipment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, labels, and production documents

• Good communication skills for reporting issues and working with cross-functional teams

• Basic math skills (measurements, fractions, decimals)

• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift as needed

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with quality inspection or quality assurance

• Familiarity with blueprints or simple technical drawings

• Knowledge of ISO standards or manufacturing quality systems
