Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team to manage and support our Linux-based private cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidate to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.
- This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and resolve issues, automate routine tasks, and implement security best practices. Candidate collaborates with other IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining our Linux-based private cloud infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on creating automation, deployment, and monitoring scripts to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. This role requires expertise in Linux systems, cloud technologies, and scripting to ensure the smooth functioning of our private cloud environment.

- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support for Linux systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies to protect the private cloud environment from unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data protection and privacy.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features or improvements to the private cloud infrastructure.

- Senior SME Level with 10-12 years of experience required
- Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Linux-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu) and cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for automation and monitoring purposes.
- Strong knowledge and experience working with commercial backup storage systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience in supporting Telecom IT systems is a plus.
