Key Responsibilities
- Assess current SAP Grants Management (GM) and Public Sector FM (PSFM) setup
- Identify gaps related to FHWA funding and federal compliance requirements
- Develop a roadmap to integrate FHWA funding rules into SAP GM
- Define structures for:
- Grant lifecycle management
- Fund tracking and allocation
- Expenditure tracking and reporting
- Align SAP GM with public sector budgeting and reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with federal funding, audit, and reporting regulations
- Recommend improvements in:
- System configuration
- Data model
- Business processes
- Collaborate with finance, budget, and transportation stakeholders
- Support implementation, testing, and documentation
- Strong experience in:
- SAP Grants Management (GM)
- SAP Public Sector Funds Management (PSFM)
- Experience with government / public sector projects
- Knowledge of federal grants and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience in:
- Configuration & implementation
- Budgeting and fund accounting
- Reporting and audit support
- Ability to perform gap analysis and solution design
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) or DOT (Department of Transportation) projects
- Knowledge of:
- Federal funding regulations
- Grant lifecycle management
- Cost allocation and fund tracking
- SAP certifications in Public Sector / Finance modules
- Integration experience with SAP FICO / SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with reporting tools (SAP BW, SAC, etc.)
