Work Model
- Chicago: Hybrid (1 day per week in office)
- New Jersey: Remote
- Travel Requirement: Up to 80% travel within the assigned state
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in the Travel Industry
- Strong Business Development (BD) and Account Management background
The Manager – Sales will be responsible for expanding our client presence in the B2B travel market by developing new business, managing existing travel agency relationships, and driving sales of outbound travel products. The role requires extensive field engagement with local travel agencies and close coordination with internal operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Cover the B2B travel market and build brand presence and product positioning.
- Develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and affiliations
- Manage and grow relationships with existing travel agents
- Conduct client training and product support for RezLive.com
- Generate new sales leads and convert them into active clients
- Follow up on quotes and travel inquiries with agents
- Sell outbound travel destinations and related travel services
- Coordinate with operations teams for pre-sales and client requirements
- Regularly visit local travel agencies to expand network and market reach
- 2–6 years of experience working in the Travel Industry
- Experience selling outbound travel destinations
- Strong understanding of the local travel trade, agents, and hotels
- Background in outbound travel agencies (IATA certification preferred)
- Excellent command of English and local language (spoken and written)
- Proficient with MS Office, email, and internet tools
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Must possess a valid U.S. driving license
