Python Developer API Development & (Databricks & ETL) - 68108
Pay Rate: $45 - $49/hr
We have an immediate need for a Python Developer based in Seattle, WA, to support scalable application and data engineering initiatives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust backend applications and designing RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django. You will work extensively with SQL databases for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, while building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. You will also contribute to data engineering workflows, integrating systems and supporting big data processing using modern tools and cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Python along with hands-on experience in REST API development using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django. Solid experience with SQL and database management is essential. Candidates should have practical exposure to Databricks and a strong understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL processes. Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or PySpark and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform will be an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and an understanding of CI/CD practices are also important for success in this role.
