We are seeking a seasoned P&C Claims Industry Expert to lead claims transformation initiatives and drive operational excellence across claims platforms. This role requires deep domain expertise in Personal Lines Claims, strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks, and the ability to translate business processes into scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing claims operations, particularly within Guidewire ClaimCenter environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for P&C claims processes and digital claims platforms
- Lead and support claims transformation initiatives, focusing on automation, efficiency, and improved customer outcomes
- Drive business discussions around workflows, rules engines, integrations, and end-to-end claims lifecycle (FNOL, payments, communications, etc.)
- Translate complex business requirements into technology solutions and operational improvements
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and vendor teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, market conduct standards, and fair claims practices
- Define business objectives, epics, features, and acceptance criteria for implementation teams
- Lead or support UAT, production readiness, defect management, and post-go-live stabilization
- Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions, ensuring compliance, security, and seamless ecosystem integration
- Identify opportunities for AI, analytics, fraud detection, and straight-through processing (STP) in claims operations
- 15 years of experience in P&C claims, claims transformation, or claims technology
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs improving claims performance (cycle time, leakage, compliance)
- Strong understanding of U.S. claims regulatory frameworks, audits, and compliance standards
- Experience translating business processes into system and technology requirements
- Exposure to Guidewire ClaimCenter (implementation, upgrade, or support preferred)
- Experience with digital FNOL, workflow automation, subrogation, fraud analytics, and API integrations
- Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working on multi-state, multi-LOB, and multi-vendor programs
- Certifications such as CPCU, AIC, ARM, or other insurance-related credentials
- Experience with enterprise claims platforms and modernization programs
- Exposure to AI-driven claims automation and advanced analytics
