Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for projects using ISQFT bid management software.
- Conduct comprehensive budget analysis to ensure projects are financially viable and profitable.
- Track and manage RFI (Requests for Information) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Viewpoint software to effectively manage projects and streamline processes.
- Perform take-offs to determine the materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage project close-out, including finalizing contracts and resolving any remaining issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a project management or estimator role.
- Proven experience with contract management, site work, and construction services.
- Experience working on commercial projects, including hospitals, retail, government buildings, and restoration projects.
- Proficient in using Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and ISQFT bid management software.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully negotiating with subcontractors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform budget analysis and manage project finances.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and building codes.
