PLM Business Analyst – Functional Testing
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

We are partnering with a leading global tech company in Silicon Valley to find a skilled PLM Business Analyst with a heavy focus on Functional Testing.
In this hybrid role, you will sit at the intersection of business and technology, driving enterprise application initiatives from requirements gathering through successful UAT. If you have a strong QA mindset and excel at translating complex business needs into rigorous validation plans, this is an excellent opportunity to impact enterprise-scale project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and meticulously document business and functional requirements from key stakeholders.
Test Engineering: Design robust test scenarios, detailed test cases, and comprehensive validation plans.
Execution & Quality Assurance: Drive the execution of functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Defect Lifecycle: Track defects, coordinate closely with development teams for resolutions, and validate all fixes prior to deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Documentation: Maintain precise project and testing documentation throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience bridging Business Analysis and Functional Testing.
Testing Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, and facilitating UAT.
Agile Acumen: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise defect management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
Communication: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to lead requirements documentation and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
Enterprise Scale: Previous experience working within complex, large-scale enterprise application environments.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
Direct exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms and processes.
Hands-on experience with test automation or advanced test management tools.
Relevant industry certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Quality Assurance (ISTQB).
