Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support database platforms for telecom OSS applications across development, testing, staging,
- Manage enterprise database technologies including:
- Oracle
- Informix
- Additional relational database platforms as needed
- Perform database installation, upgrades, patching, migrations, backup/recovery, replication, and performance tuning activities.
- Support platform modernization initiatives involving migration from Solaris, Client-UX, and legacy Windows systems to Red Hat Enterprise Linux and modern Windows environments.
- Monitor and optimize database and platform performance for high-volume telecom operational systems.
- Collaborate with application, middleware, cloud, infrastructure, and network teams during transformation and migration programs.
- Support hybrid deployment environments spanning on-prem data centers, Azure, and AWS Outposts.
