Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail L2 Support Engineer with strong expertise in merchandising and retail systems support. The role focuses on providing application support, monitoring system performance, and ensuring smooth operation of Oracle Retail modules in a production environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Oracle Retail applications, strong SQL skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to batch jobs, integrations, and data flows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 application support for Oracle Retail modules including Merchandising, Invoice Matching, Sales Audit, and Price Management.
Monitor batch jobs, integrations, and data flows to ensure timely execution and resolution of failures.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Oracle Retail applications.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Support system integrations and ensure smooth data exchange across platforms.
Work closely with business and technical teams to resolve operational issues.
Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, and system processes.
Ensure adherence to SLA requirements and support processes.
Participate in shift based support and provide flexibility for production support needs.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
10 years of experience in application support roles.
Experience providing L2 support for Oracle Retail applications.
Experience working in production support and shift based environments.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Oracle Retail modules including RMS, Invoice Matching, Sales Audit, and Price Management.
Experience with Merchandising systems and retail domain processes.
Strong SQL and PL SQL skills for troubleshooting and data analysis.
Experience with Databricks and Oracle Integration Cloud.
Experience monitoring batch jobs, integrations, and data pipelines.
Strong understanding of application support processes and incident management.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in production support environments.
