Job Title: Operator-Disc Cell

Location: Lancaster, PA

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm

Job Summary:

Operator 2 performs production processes and operates various machines including soak, punch, Double Disc Rough, Centerless Grind, Core Drill, CNC Slice, DCM, SPLAP, STC, and MWS.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Required:

Operate without performing the setup of Double Disc, Centerless Grind, Core Drill, and CNC Slice.

• Cycling of the MWS and STC operations
• Assist Machinists with machine setup and adjustments.
• Ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Achieve tolerances of critical dimensions with supervisor assistance.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.
• Assist in training Operator 1 employees.
• Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  
  

Desired additional operations:

Centerless Grind with setup and program editing or Double Disc Finish with setup and program editing

• Core Drill with performing setup and program editing
• CNC Slice with performing setup and program editing
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret part prints.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
