Job Title: Machinist

Location: Lancaster, PA

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Fri/Sat/Sun 6:30am-7pm

Machinist 1:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:?

• Required operations:

• Centerless Grind with setup and program editing or Double Disc Finish with setup and program editing
• Core Drill with setup and program editing
• CNC Slice with setup and program edit
• Desired operations include the following:

• Centerless Grind with setup and program editing and Double Disc Finish with setup and program editing
• DCM with setup and program editing
• Achieve and maintain tolerances greater than .0005 independently for 1 of the following: MWS, STC or Surface Grind maintaining tolerance above .0005 independently
• Monitor and improve process efficiencies.
• Assist with root cause analysis and defect reduction.
• Train and mentor Operators 1 and 2.
• Achieve and maintain tolerances of .0008 - .0005 independently.
• Assistance for meeting tolerances tighter than .0005 (required)
• Assistance with setups requiring G Code changes.
• Ensure all processes meet quality and safety standards.
• Assist with machine troubleshooting and minor maintenance.
• Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year machining experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic CNC operation experience preferred.
