Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer who will provide systems engineering and technical support to assess and develop the future Missile Defense System. This Engineer will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency.

Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer who will provide systems engineering and technical support to assess and develop the future Missile Defense System. This Engineer will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency.
Responsibilities
- Assess Missile Defense (MD) threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities. Develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level
- Support the above efforts by sourcing, generating, and organizing engineered threat data; developing threat scenarios; and reviewing current threat intelligence reports
- Support analysis efforts of MDS architecture studies on the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) system
- Support Missile Defense Wargaming efforts
- Review and provide quality assurance of team analysis products before delivery; mentor younger engineers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Masters degree in STEM and 12 years' experience
- Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Specialized MDS analysis experience in threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures
- Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving future concepts
- Extensive knowledge of the current MDS architecture and/or foreign missile systems
- Experience with Excel and data analysis
- Experience with MATLAB
- Experience with TGx, HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plus.
- Experience with BMD Benchmark
- Experience with large datasets and data organization methods
- Experience working in the Missile Defense Agency
