About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Time & Labor Lead (Kronos) Developer to join our growing IT team in Irvine. In this role, you will act as the technical and functional subject matter expert, driving the implementation, development, and support of our Workforce Management (WFM) systems. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our timekeeping, scheduling, and compliance modules run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop: Oversee and execute implementation, development, and support projects for Kronos WFC, WFD (Dimensions), and WFR applications.
- Functional Configuration: Configure and optimize core WFM modules including Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, Forecasting, Accruals, Attendance, and Activities.
- Integration & Interface Management: Design and develop robust interfaces using WIM for WFC, and integrate WFR with middle-layer platforms such as Dell Boomi.
- WFM Discipline Oversight: Ensure system alignment with complex workforce management rules, including overtime management, compliance monitoring, leave management, employee self-service, and schedule optimization.
- Productivity Tracking: Implement activity tracking solutions to monitor idle time, utilization, productivity, and incentive pay.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact, effectively driving and managing communication with business stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Overall IT Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the Information Technology sector.
- Kronos Expertise: At least 6 years of hands-on experience in implementation, development, and support projects specifically related to Kronos WFC / WFD applications.
- Technical Deep-Dive: Proven experience with Kronos WFC/WFD/WFR across functional modules (Timekeeping, Scheduling, Forecasting, Accruals, Attendance).
- Integration Skills: Direct experience in interface development utilizing WIM (Workforce Integration Manager) and middleware tools like Dell Boomi.
- Domain Knowledge: Sound understanding of workforce management disciplines, including compliance monitoring, work authorization, and productivity metrics.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive stakeholder communication and translate business needs into technical designs.
