Requirement/Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow standard operating and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with plant care, greenhouse work, or agricultural research preferred.
- Familiarity with safely operating machinery and following protocols.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain plant/seed identity accurately for multiple experiments.
- Perform daily greenhouse plant care including watering, harvesting, discarding plants, and seed processing.
- Move plant carts in and out of greenhouses and assist with experimental tasks.
- Collect, record, and manage data for research purposes.
- Safely operate threshing machinery following training and protocol.
- Conduct routine greenhouse sanitation including cleaning pots, containers, and workspaces.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Initiative and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Knowledge of greenhouse operations and plant handling.
- Competency with basic computer programs and research software.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety/ergonomics protocols.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor s degree in agriculture, horticulture, biology, or related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
