Title: Java UI Architect Location: Plano, TX (On-site) Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Role Summary

The Java UI Architect will define frontend architecture standards, guide implementation across React and Angular applications, and partner with backend, DevOps, product, and UX teams. The ideal candidate brings strong Java experience, deep knowledge of modern UI frameworks, and hands-on exposure to AWS services and microservices-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own UI architecture for enterprise web applications using React and Angular
• Define reusable component patterns, shared design systems, and frontend coding standards
• Collaborate with Java backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and enforce best practices for code quality, performance, and accessibility
• Architect solutions on AWS, including services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, and SNS
• Improve frontend performance, observability, testability, and CI/CD readiness
• Work with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into responsive, intuitive interfaces
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of software development experience, including strong Java and frontend architecture background
• Extensive experience with React and/or Angular in production environments
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design
• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API integration
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture
• Proven ability to mentor teams, review designs, and drive architectural decisions
