As a Software Engineer on our team, you will work alongside talented IVR developers who are passionate about delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable self-service solutions for the contact center. You will design, develop, test, and support IVR applications operating in a modern Cloud environment, using engineering best practices and high-quality development standards. Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals.
- Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices.
- Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.
- Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of our solutions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience with complex applications.
- Previous experience with Speech-enabled IVR development using Genesys or Nuance Framework.
- A strong track record of delivering software through multiple full project implementations.
- Experience leading developers within an agile, fast-paced engineering environment.
- Genesys IVR.
- Java/JavaScript, Spring, Groovy, and VXML.
- Proficiency in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot.
- Familiarity with deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment.
- Experience in building or deploying applications on the MS Azure or OpenShift platform.
