Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of middle-tier services and client-facing web applications. The ideal candidate will utilize the latest development technologies within an Agile environment, providing strategic technical direction and collaborating with programming teams to deliver software solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, test, support, maintain and debug Middle tier services as well as client facing Web applications
• Utilize latest development technologies to solve for business requirements
• Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and technology stack
• Represent technical team in SDLC for Agile project methodologies
• Collaborate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget
• Monitor and enhance the stability and performance of the existing applications
  
  

Requirements:

• Senior Java Developer with 5 to 7 years of IT experience
• Web Application development with Spring Frameworks
• Core Java, J2EE
• REST API development experience
• Webservices integration
• HTML/XHTML, HTML 5, CSS
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for software design and development
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  
  

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
