JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing field/distributor inventory both physically and in systems, ensuring traceability, accurate reporting, and adherence to regulations. Supports departmental goals to optimize inventory levels, protect company assets, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, research disputed inventory, and identify root causes.
• Review and reconcile missing/late inventory reports daily.
• Manage systematic movement of inventory and maintain data integrity.
• Facilitate returns/exchanges of expired or calibrated products.
• Conduct research for product recalls.
• Generate weekly/monthly and ad-hoc inventory reports.
• Manage distributor account terminations and related inventory.
• Assist with strategic inventory requests, asset placement/recovery, and brand rationalization.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO standards and follow SOPs.
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work in a team or independently.
• Analytical and process improvement mindset.
• Highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities.
  
  

Education & Experience

• 2 years in inventory control, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO standards.
• Valid driver s license.
