Position Description:
- Ability to oversee end-to-end technical architecture for integrations supporting Procurement platforms, including Finance ERP systems, vendor master data, Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Management (IDM), and document management systems.
- Skilled in defining integration patterns, API standards, message structures, data transformation rules, and error-handling frameworks.
- Skilled in developing architectural artifacts, including system diagrams, data flow maps, and integration frameworks.
- Skilled in evaluating contractor-provided technical designs and ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture principles and security requirements.
- Skilled in designing, developing, and optimizing APIs (REST, SOAP, and GraphQL where applicable) to support procurement workflows, vendor onboarding, catalog synchronization, approvals, and spend management.
- Ability to oversee and support integration layers, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), and API Gateway technologies.
- Ability to ensure seamless data exchange with upstream and downstream systems, including ERP systems. 8. Skilled in establishing standards for API versioning, authentication, authorization, and monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-resolution skills related to complex integration issues, latency problems, security token failures, data mismatches, and workflow breakdowns.
- Skilled in defining data mapping rules, master data synchronization schedules, and data validation logic.
- Ability to establish and maintain data governance guidelines related to vendor master data, procurement categories, chart of accounts, and approval hierarchies.
- Ability to conduct impact analyses for changes to data models, interfaces, and integration endpoints.
- Skilled in applying and enforcing API security standards and protocols, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, SAML, and RBAC.
- Ability to ensure system integrations comply with organizational security policies, auditing requirements, and applicable compliance standards.
- Technical leadership and problem-resolution skills to support serving as a technical escalation point for implementation projects and production support cycles.
- Ability to manage and coordinate vendor technical teams to ensure the timely and quality delivery of integration components.
- Skilled in establishing and enforcing coding standards, integration testing protocols, and API performance benchmarks.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
- Skilled in load testing, failover testing, and performance tuning of integration components.
- Technical documentation skills, including the development of API specifications, data dictionaries, sequence diagrams, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.
- Training and knowledge transfer skills related to long-term system maintenance, current and target-state architecture, sequencing plans, architectural segments, reference models, and technology standards.

- 2 years of experience with RESTful API design, JSON/XML standards, OAuth 2.0, API gateways, and modern iPaaS/ESB platforms.
- 2 years of experience utilizing scripting and development languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Node.js.
- 2 years of experience integrating with major ERP systems and vendor management platforms.
- 3 years of experience supporting procurement workflows, including sourcing, requisition-to-purchase order, vendor onboarding, contracts, catalogs, and invoice processing.
- 2 years of experience with data governance, ETL/ELT practices, and integration monitoring tools.
- 2 years of experience implementing procurement platforms such as Coupa, Jaggaer, Ariba, Ivalua or similar solutions.
- 1 or more years of experience preparing technical documentation and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
