The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all field work and electrical installations across multiple job sites.
- Manage manpower, tools, and equipment allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and jobsite standards.
- Ensure all installations meet project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers regarding schedules, materials, and workforce requirements.
- Lead and mentor foremen and field crews, including conducting daily meetings and site briefings.
- Track project progress and report field conditions, risks, and issues to management.
- Maintain high productivity levels while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent OR minimum 8 years as a Foreman on commercial electrical projects ($50K–$2.5M range).
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and NYC electrical codes, methods, and practices.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical system designs.
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations in construction environments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams, vendors, and clients.
