Responsibilities:
- Support Insider Risk Management (IRM) monitoring by reviewing anonymized alerts in Microsoft Purview and identifying patterns such as data exfiltration and risky user behavior.
- Analyze activities across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and endpoint systems to detect potential data leaks.
- Manage and support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and policies aligned with data protection initiatives.
- Optimize auto-labeling policies to ensure proper classification and encryption of sensitive data including PII, PHI, and intellectual property.
- Utilize Content Explorer and Activity Explorer to investigate data exposure incidents and understand data movement.
- Develop and deliver weekly risk reports and dashboards highlighting trends in sensitive data exposure and exfiltration attempts.
- Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Behavioral Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in data protection, security, or related domains.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Boolean logic and Regular Expressions (Regex) to define and detect sensitive data patterns.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem including data flow across OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and external endpoints.
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive organizational and employee data.
