As a Microsoft Datacenter IT Operations Manager (ITOM), you lead and manage a team of individual contributors as well as overseeing data center site services and logistics. This role will give you an opportunity to lead highly effective team.

As a CO I ITOM, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities:
- Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of datacenter activities .
- Leading and managing a team of proficient managers and individual contributors and their ongoing talent development .
- Managing and overseeing datacenter site services, data center project managers , logistics to support deployment and on-going operations.
- Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal business groups to ensure the successful delivery of service levels.
- Analyzing production operations and initiate corrective actions to ensure operational stability with the goal of meeting our Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) .
- Initiate and establish quality standards for the Datacenter teams and our vendors manag ing those initiatives through to completion.

- Lead through rapid scaling and change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.
- Embody our culture and values .
- High School Qualification or equivalent AND 3 years experience of mission-critical service management (e.g., providing IT services, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, military, or managing physical operations in an IT and/or critical environment infrastructure)
- OR equivalent experience
- At least 2 experience leading and motivating a diverse, technical workforce.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by rhythm of the business
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.
- Enterprise-level Experience in managing large-scale and complex projects/programs.
- Working knowledge of audit and compliance requirements in a large global enterprise
- Problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, data analysis, and attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Must be able to multi-task and project manage many tasks simultaneously.
- College or university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
