Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO I, the Core Datacenter Services (DCS) team is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies across our Datacenters (DCs).
As a Datacenter Efficiency Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing initiatives launched to our DC Ops Field.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute on a portfolio of projects, including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for programs with the goal to maximize efficiency and optimization in our Datacenters (DCs).

Business Program Excellence and Execution
Maintain the rhythm of business (ROB) during plan execution to ensure participants and stakeholders are communicating and responding according to the necessary cadence.
Independently work across teams to ensure all program requirements are understood and can be met.
Business Program Management
Communicates the program status to relevant stakeholders and hold them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans and processes, with minimal guidance.
Help develop processes around scope and scheduled changes for programs, and communicate to stakeholders
Business Program Planning and Design
Support and contribute to define and tracks the success criteria and performance metrics (Objectives and Key Results [OKRs]) for the projects being launched.
Understands and identify current program risks, impact, and mitigation plans, in collaboration with others.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4 years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2 years of project management experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6 years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8 years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in a critical environment (e.g datacenter, hospital, etc.)
